Love Notes & Anecdotes

God has been putting it on my heart to go to Africa. no joke. I've wanted to go on a missions trip for a long time now and I've prayed about where God wanted me to go and I truly believe he wants me to go there. I've told a couple of people and they're like "AFRICA? ARE YOU SERIOUS?" And yes, i can tell you "i've been called to go there" with a straight face. 

It may not be a "vacation" that's for sure, but the rewards that come out of helping the people over there will last a lifetime and be more satisfying than any "lounge by the pool." I believe it will truly put into reality the fact that I have so many extra nothings in my life when the people over there are just happy to have their family, running water and a place to sleep.

I just have this strong desire to help out the people there and to share the love of God to people who have never heard the name "Jesus Christ."

that's more exciting than anything.
