an afflatus

believing in Him is hard.
being a Christian is not an easy thing to do.
at all.

it's unbelievably hard to lift your eyes and accept something so Good such as the existence of a God that loves you...but that truth resonates so clearly wherever you turn. whether it be the heights of heaven or when you've hit rock bottom, that light shines out from even the smallest crevice. He wants to carry you. and all you have to do is invite Him into your heart.

He shaped each star in the sky with His hands, structured every atom and molecule into perfect precision so our universe is not off by .001 and prone to explosion. even science points to Him.
how can everything work so perfectly to say it's mere "coincidence"?
our bodies alone are a miracle and too perfect to say we popped out from stardust.
how did the Earth get placed so prefectly in the universe so that a mile closer to the sun we would burn alive or a mile further and we would freeze to death?

and He created YOU. not only that...but you are priceless to Him. that beautiful man that lived once, Jesus? son of God? yeah, Him. He died for us. He put his body to the cross and overcame incredible, excruciating pain for each and every person who lived so that impossibly, illogically even..but out of pure love- we are able to reach the creator of the entire universe.
